Langley

Dear Langley Families and friends,
We have had a lot of fun this week dancing to music and the sound of instruments.

We turned off the lights and switched on the cool disco lights! So much fun J
The children gave a warm welcome to our new friend, Angus! Happy 2nd Birthday Angus J we’re looking forward to getting to know you!

On Monday and Wednesday we got right into the investigation of thunderstorms! We had many conversations and watched some lightning on YouTube – listening out for the thunder. The children experimented with instruments to recreate the thunder and rain sounds using our rain stick, drums and symbols!
Our touch sense was also a common interest that sparked this week, the children enjoyed touching the sensory boards and the pin press pads!

If your child is showing great interest in something at home, we would love to know about it so we can help take it further! We also welcome any incorporation in to what we are currently working on in the classroom. Don’t hesitate to ask J
Have a great weekend,

Miss Emily, Miss Brooke and Miss Renee.
