Cooper

Dear Cooper Room Families and Friends,
We have come to the end of our time in the Cooper Room. I can say this has been a wonderful experience of learning, growing and building lasting relationships with a beautiful group of children and families. I have enjoyed every minute of my time and riding this journey together. Thank you!

During our final week of the Winter Program the Cooper children have been learning about lavender. Miss C picked some fresh lavender from home and brought in lavender oil for a group discussion. The children discovered that the colour lavender is a light purple shade, it comes from a plant, it produces flowers on a green stem, and it has a beautiful scent, you can also make lavender oil from the plant and it has a soothing and calming effect for the mind. From there we made lavender scented play dough and the children got to explore with lavender flowers.
The second highlight of the week was pyjama day! The children and staff got to come dressed in our warm and cosy PJ’s. On Tuesday after lunch we snuggled up on the pillows with some popcorn and the movie Madagascar… it was a great way to spend the afternoon whilst the rain was pouring outside.

Once again thank you for a fabulous year together and I will miss you all so much. I wish all the children the very best in the Edgerley Room. See you all next term!
Much Love Miss C, Miss Gray and Mr Ty
