Wilkins

Dear Wilkins families,

Welcome back for Term 4! We have jumped right into our program for the term with a very busy week. We have been exploring camping through our role play, cooking over a camp fire and bunking down in our tent. We have enjoyed using the different diggers and trucks in the large dirt tray, complete with tunnels, manoeuvring them in and out and through as they dig and lift the dirt.
We have continued our exploration of the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, watching a shadow puppet play of the story on the big computer – the children are very good at retelling the story and we look forward to exploring this more next week.
On Thursday we were lucky enough to have Heidi from Dancify come and do a dance session with us! She taught us a whole dance routine around the story of the very sleepy bear. We picked it up really quickly and loved dancing and grooving to the music. We have two more sessions with Heidi in the following weeks and can’t wait to see what she is going to do with us next.

Best wishes for a glorious sunny weekend,

Karla, Amy and Jess
