Cooper

Hello Cooper Friends and families

Welcome to term 4!

This week we have been exploring Spring and the changes that occur during Spring time. The children have been gluing red, pink and white tissue paper onto brown paper to make blossoms and branches to hang off our classroom tree.

"We're making blossoms!" Ollie

"It's for the tree!" Zoe

If you have any 'Spring' themed items you'd like your child to share with the class please bring them in.

We have also been exploring the numbers 1-8 and their value. To introduce the class to the concept of numbers having a value the children have been looking at number cards that show a number and dots that correlate to that number. We have then been sorting rocks and placing them on the dots. We have noticed the children have been discussing the different numbers with each other and they have been working together to complete the experience.

"Eight rocks on the number eight" Ella

"We need to sort the rocks!" Andrei

On Thursday the children participated in a Dancify dance class. Over the 30 minutes the children learnt a dance routine that was accompanied by some very groovy music. We can't wait for our next lesson on Tuesday.

Don't forget the Cooper children are having their class photo on Wednesday 22nd October at 10.30-11am.

Have a great weekend!
