Wilkins

Dear Wilkins familes and friends

Happy Near Year!

We are in full swing and ready for a fun filled year. We were lucky enough to welcome some new children into the Wilkins class! They’ve settled in well and have enjoyed the different activities we have prepared for them all.

We would like to say a HUGE congratulations to Miss Karla and her husband Pete on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Alana Jean on 2nd January. They’re all doing well and we hope to have a visit soon!

We hope to re-schedule our wheels day for Thursday 14th January. Providing the weather isn’t too hot we invite children to bring their bikes or scooters to school.
Please bring a helmet also as we hope to be able to use the carpark as a track.

This week we welcomed Miss Kim into our class. Miss Kim will be in the Wilkins room on Wednesdays and Thursdays!! We were very excited to meet her!

The children who are moving to the Mead room have been lucky enough to have lots of visits to their new class. They’ve enjoyed playing in the big yard, stories, singing songs, gluing and meeting their new teacher Miss Elodie.

We have also enjoyed texta drawings, puzzles, reading stories, building train tracks and playing with the Australian animals.

Thanks for a great first week.
