Mead

Hello Mead families and friends,

This week we continue to have low numbers within the room which has been a great opportunity for the children to participate in small group times and choosing from an array of spontaneous and planned experiences/activities inside and outside.

Miss Melissa created salt play dough for the children in order for them to create with; they chose to put shells in them. The children participated in a ‘Sink or Swim’ activity with Miss Elodie.

Construction has been a strong interest within the room this week, building tall towers with the wooden blocks, connecting a long train track along the floor and building with the Lego pieces.

A big hit this week was watching a movie with other classes in our dining area!

On Tuesday the 4 year olds participated in water play, having their own ‘Wet & Wild’ day, some of the Mead children joined in on all the fun, ending up completely saturated with water but with a big smile across their face. This gave us the idea to have our very own ‘Wet & Wild’ day next Friday 22nd. If you could please remember to pack your children bathers and a towel and a spare set of clothes to change into if necessary.

Enjoy your weekend.
