Cooper

Dear Cooper Room Families and Friends,

During a week of hot weather the children have had the opportunity to spend the morning outdoors and the rest of the day keeping cool and busy indoors.

On Monday Miss C filled the water trough and the children went around the classroom to test if certain objects dropped in the water would sink or float. The children chose things like paper, match sticks, pop sticks, ribbon and plastic lids.

They’re floating! Ryan
I wonder why? Miss C
Because it has water? Ryan
That one floats! Zali
Nothing is sinking? Lexie
Why do you think these objects are not sinking? How about we trial something heavy? Miss C
So it can sink? Ryan

We look forward to seeing you all again next week.

Happy Weekend!

Miss C and Mrs Nacca
