Mattingley/Angwin

Dear Mattingley/Angwin families,

This week we had Sebastian’s Dad come to school to do another sports session with the children. The children used team work to carry the rope from his car all the way to the Red Centre, it was a very long way. Then the children split into teams for a tug of war, girls against boys. I wonder if you can guess who the winners were. The children also got to do some challenging circuits with press ups in. They finished with some boxing and had just enough energy to take the rope back to Mr Stewart’s car.

Parent participation is highly valued in our class. When children see their parents taking an interest in school they see how devoted you are to their education and learning. The children get very excited having parents join them in experiences and this motivation can have a positive impact on their learning outcomes. If you have any skills you would like to share please let us know.

As this is the last day of term we would like to thank all the children and families for their involvement in a fun Summer program. We welcome Mrs Cooper to the class, she has already made a positive impact on the children with her visits on Wednesday and Thursday and we look forward in term commencing on Monday.

Love Miss Bowden and Miss Kim
