Mead

Dear Mead Room families,
We hope you all had a lovely long weekend!  Even though our week was only 4 days we still managed to do enough for five!  We had Chinese, Library and Dancify with Heidi - some parents have said they are learning some of our amazing dance moves at home!

This week we have integrated technology into our Colour investigation.  Each class has a computer for the children to utilise and we found a program that will allow us to draw, create colour-scapes and examine colour blending. The children were fascinated to observe what their peers were creating and were so keen to try their hand at it themselves.

Addison – I can change it (the colour) from brown to green to pink to yellow and I just press it. And look.

In the town square this week we have a fantastic puppet theatre.  We had a rolling cast of puppeteers who entertained their peers with many rollicking stories of friends, monsters, Peppa Pig and her brother George and a menagerie of animals!

Colour Run

Our ELC Colour Run is on Tuesday 16th June.  As it is a festive occasion and there will be plenty of brightly coloured powder in use we ask that the children wear a white t-shirt similar to other Colour Run’s held, and some pants that you don’t mind getting ‘coloured’.  We will pop their school uniform on afterwards.

Have a wonderful weekend.
