Cooper

Hello Cooper friends and families,

This week the children have spent a lot of time at the making table creating monsters, aeroplanes and ships. We have been working with the children to build their planning and forward thinking capabilities by encouraging them to map out their intention and pre plan the materials they will require.

I’m making a train so I will need wheels. William
It’s going to be a flying thing so I will need wings! Oliver

The class have also been very interested in the Duplo experience in the construction corner. The children have been working together to create marvellous structures that have become more elaborate as the week has progressed.

It’s a Searching Station. Ollie
There is a sunlight and if someone is lost it turns on. Varish
If any of the animals get lost one of the trucks comes to find them. David
If someone is in trouble the mans has to come to the rescue to help the animals. Denver

Colour Run: Tuesday families don’t forget that we are participating in the ELC Colour Run in week 9 as part of our ‘Conversations in Colour’ inquiry. Children will require a plain white t-shirt to participate and we would love you to pack their ELC uniform to change into after.

Rainbow: In week 9 we will be collecting violet items for the Cooper rainbow.

Have a lovely weekend
