Cooper

Hello Cooper friends and families,

This week the children have been creating wonderful rainbows at the painting easels. The class used a picture of a rainbow as their reference and then they painted their own interpretation.

Um so this is blue and this yellow and this red and this orange and this is green and this violet and this is called um what is this one called again? Oh um indigo. Zoƫ

Um it’s a rainbow and um it’s very big and it libs (lives) in the sky. Oscar M

Because there is lots of colours cos there is green, yellow and purple and pink and red and blue and orange it’s a rainbow. Sylas W

We have also been experimenting with Tempera paints and toothbrushes to create fireworks on large pieces of white paper. The class dipped their toothbrushes into the paint and then used their fingers to flick the paint onto the paper. The paintings are now on display on the Cooper Room windows so don't forget to have a look at them the next time you're in.

Look at the fireworks! Andrei

It’s getting on my face. Ella

This is looking like fireworks. Ollie

Have a lovely long weekend!
