Wilkins

Dear Wilkins families,
We have had a busy week in the Wilkins room. We visited the red centre during the week and burnt some energy playing ‘chasey’. We also created our own fruit smoothies using watermelon, apple, strawberries and banana. We mixed it in the blender to make ice creams.

We have been quite the master chefs this week also baking gingerbread men while sharing the story of the gingerbread man. A few of the children were worried that they might run away! Luckily, we were able to eat them.
The children have been very musical this week using musical instruments to bop along to different rhythms of music and create their own dances. Next week we will make some of our own instruments from recycled materials.

Today we enjoyed a picnic lunch on the oval, followed by some games.
Next week’s program is in your child’s locker. Please be sure to have a look.

Enjoy your weekend and we will see you next week!
