Langley

Dear families and friends of the Langley room,

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! This week has been full of festive cheer. On Wednesday the café area was transformed with decorations and carols as the children enjoyed a special Christmas lunch. We also had a visit from a very special guest on Friday – Father Christmas himself! He came and read us all a story before meeting us individually and giving us a little present from the teachers.

Also this week children have been experimenting with coloured dye at the light table. They worked on their fine motor skills using eye droppers to squeeze the dye onto paper towel. Some very bright designs were created, as well as some new colours when the dyes were mixed.

Please note that the Langley Family Day, which was scheduled for Sunday, has been cancelled due to very low attendance. Sincere thanks to Natalie (Isla’s mum) for organising this event.

Enjoy the weekend!
