Mattingley

Dear Mattingley friends and families,

The children have continued their interest in purple snow, which are the flowers from the Jacaranda tree that fall to the ground, symbolising in Australia that Christmas is coming. The children have been painting trees using water colours and paint, and towards the end of the week the children have even been playing with purple snow which they made using fake snow powder, water and purple food colouring. We are beginning to create a Jacaranda tree in our class using the pole and next week will add some purple flowers to it. Outside the children have been making cement in the sand, playing What’s the time Mr Wolf and having fun in the water on wet and wild day.
Have a great weekend

Miss Bowden, Miss Faye, Miss Tiarna and Mr Angus.
