Angwin

Dear Angwin friends and families,

We are pretty sure everyone is geared up for some R & R for the holiday season.

Lots of the children in the Angwin room have been so keen on sharing their holiday plans and all the fun that they will be having.

To ensure Father Christmas does not miss any household especially those with no chimneys, we have made special magical keys to make his entry a little easier. Make sure you hang them on your doors on Christmas Eve.

We have been exploring different specimens of conifers inspired by the pine cones we have collected on the school grounds. We were amazed that such tall and big trees can come from very tiny seeds and that the cones change many times over a year.

The matchbox cars remain to be the favourite and we can't wait to take it to the boarding house yard to use the car ramps.

Water play always tickles the children's interest as it allows them to build trenches, dams and moats (with a little splashing, of course).

We went for adventure walks which included a trip to the RED Centre, library, rainbow playgrounds and races on the oval.

In short, its been a fun packed week - a perfect way to end the year.

I wish you all a safe and wonderful holidays.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Mrs Rocca
