Cooper

The school year is over! What a blast it’s been!

The Cooper Children have thoroughly enjoyed the final week of the school holidays. We have played with balls, running races and various games at The Red Centre. We made a trip to the library, the children had story books read to them followed by independent reading as the children looked at picture books quietly and had a chance to borrow a book of their choice. On the walk back to the ELC we explored the school grounds and stopped to watch some big boys play cricket.

Dress up day was a highlight, the children got into character to play fantasy roles. Acting is a great way for children to channel their feelings and emotions and stimulates creativity to spark their imagination.  To extend on this the talented Miss Emma was busy face painting to enhance the children’s imagination. Face painting was a hit! The children found this to be a lot of fun and very entertaining.

Miss C and Miss Emma would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a Happy New Year. Enjoy the holiday season!
