Mead

Dear Mead Room families,
This week the Mead Room friends have been busy in our indoor and outdoor environments, discussing celebrations and witnessing them too.  We were very lucky to be invited to the Chapple and Angwin Room graduation celebrations on Thursday as these friends will be off to school in January.  The Mead Room children were transfixed with the pomp and circumstance of the graduation and even more so when they realised that would be them this time next year!  These special occasions mark important transitions,  and everyone was moved by the celebratory nature of the ceremony.

Speaking of celebrations -  another birthday - Happy Birthday Scarlett, you are now four! And a big Happy Birthday to Annie who is turning four on the 23rd of December.

On Friday morning we made Gingerbread Men for our class party, which we held in the afternoon.  And a little later a surprise visitor arrived to share a special ‘Aussie Christmas’ story and then met each child individually – it was Santa of course! (or Father Christmas if you prefer!).

Be safe and have a great weekend it was a privilege to learn alongside your children this year!
