Edgerley

Dear Edgerley Families

It has been a welcome break for the children from the rigours of the term. The children have enjoyed week 1 of the winter break so far with some free play activities. Some children just had fun blowing up balloons.

If it is not cold enough already, the Edgerley class wanted to set up an Ice cream shop in the home corner. We made some paper cones and had some different flavours offered to eat, which include grape, banana and strawberry. Coffee was also a popular refreshment which was made to order.

The Wednesday children watched the movie ‘Cloud with a Chance of Meatballs’ with a treat of popcorn on the side. It was enjoyed by all (movie and popcorn).

During the week we had some time for a ‘kick and a catch’ of football on the courts or just a fun run for those who wanted to. Some children are quite interested in football at the moment and love to play the game.

Have a great weekend and look forward to seeing everyone next weekend.
