Edgerley

Dear Edgerely Families,

The final week of the term has finally arrived and we have spent the week preparing for big changes.

We enjoyed preparing our mini concert for you that we performed at graduation. The children voted and decided on the songs to perform, and true to form, choose some of our noisiest action songs.

Luckily on the day of graduation we all remembered to keep our feet still so we didn’t stomp or steam off the edge of the stage! What a wonderful morning celebrating with our graduates in the chapel. There seemed to not be a dry eye in the house after Mr Ty’s video, and lots of requests for copies. If you would like a copy of the video burned for you please e-mail your request to tsimmonds@pac.edu.au. Mr Ty would be happy to burn you a copy and it will be available to be collected on the first day of next term, the 25th of July.

You will also notice there are no photos attached to our blog post this week. This is partly because we have been so busy that we didn’t even get to pick up a camera this week but also because there is no way we could compete with the beautiful photos taken by Dwayne from Festival Photos. Dwaynes photos will be uploaded by next week and available to be viewed at www.festivalphoto.com.au .
Don’t forget the password is Princes2016. We hope you enjoy looking at them.

It has been a pleasure and an honour to work with all of the children in the Edgerley room and Emma, Ty and I will miss them greatly. It has been a wonderful year filled with the fantastic ideas and inquiries sparked by the boys knowledge and experiences as well as lots of laughs and hugs. We know that the teachers who have the good luck to become their teachers in the new semester will count themselves very lucky. We will definitely miss our special bunch of little fellows. Emma, Ty and I, along with Emma Gray from far away, would like to thank all of the Edgerley Mums and Dads for their support, trust and kindness throughout the year and wish you all the best of luck for a new academic year filled with fun and investigation.

Lots of love from the team in Edgerley,

Emma, Mel, Ty and Emma J
