Hi everyone,
This week we have experienced freezing cold weather so we
have been trying to stay nice and warm. We have continued with our
tie dye t-shirts, they are looking absolutely brilliant with
their wash of vibrant colour.
On Wednesday we had a Rock n Roll dance party some of
us dressed in a Rock star theme for the day. We played our favourite rock songs
and danced the morning away, we also had an air guitar competition which was a
whole lot of fun.
We also watched the movie ‘Kung Fu
Panda’ on Thursday and conducted some research about pandas in their natural
habitat, the children were interested in making their own pandas with decorated
paper.
Our mini Olympics was very enjoyable for all who participated. We had three major events of shot put, long jump and a marathon. In the morning the students used fine motor skills and hand eye coordination while creating medals that were then presented during the closing ceremony too all of our athletes.
