We have created something amazing
together!
A Carocket!
Last week we gathered all of the machine
parts we removed when disassembling machines that no longer functioned and
talked about what we could do with them.
Lachlan – put them in the bin
Christopher – recycle
Banjo – make something
Louis – I like cars, make a car
Aston – I like rockets
Lucas – I like rockets too
Many Mead Room friends liked the idea of
making something, and cars and rockets were favourably received by all. Just one thing… we didn’t have enough parts
to make a car and a rocket….. so the idea of the Carocket was imagined.
We worked together over many days to make
our ideas a reality, using collaboration and teamwork, lots of trial and error,
and then finally….. ta da!
Thankyou so much to all of the parents
and caregivers who were able to attend Sports Day, we understand that many more
would have liked to have come! The
children thoroughly revelled in the activities of the morning.
Leonardo – I ran in all the races and
raced with my Daddy
Braxton – I liked running
Lola – I liked running with my Grandma
Hannah – I played a running game
Happy Birthday Lachlan! And a Happy Birthday wish for Ned, who will
be turning 4 in the school holidays!!
