Mead

Dear Mead Room families and friends,
The weather is warming up so water investigation is high on our list of experiences! Our opportunities for inquiry are boundless - we have floated, submerged, filled, poured and measured, along with sorting and classifying for good measure!

With the hot weather expected next week please ensure that you apply sunscreen either at home or on arrival at the ELC (we have sunscreen available), we ask that you indicate on the daily information sheet whether you have done so. Please pop a set of named spare clothes in your child’s bag so that we can continue our amazing water investigation opportunities and embrace the weather!

We have also spent some time manipulating the interlocking blocks:

Ellie – this one is a caterpillar.  He’s going to be a long, long caterpillar!

Lucas – I’m making a caterpillar too!

Mrs Prest has some amazing stripey caterpillars on a special shrub at home – I think they’ll have to come in for a visit next week!

That’s not all we’ve been doing but it’s all we can fit in the blog!

Have a great weekend.

From Melissa and Kendall
