Mattingley

Dear Mattingley families and friends,

Wow another week has flown by in the Mattingley room! We have had a wonderful time exploring our outdoor environment with each other. On Thursday morning a group of children found some bright and colourful caterpillars on our lemon bush outside. With the help of Miss Bowden they had a closer look and decided to make them a home in our classroom so we could watch them grow and change. We are looking forward to watching what happens to them over the following weeks.

It has been lovely to see all he wonderful things that the children have been doing for each other and the friendships that they have been developing. We have begun to have group discussions into what a friend is, with some beautiful responses.

"To help people"- Poppy

"It some one you make friends with. You play with them." Liam

"Robert is my friends, he plays with me"- Kennedy

"You share with your friends." Erin

"Harry B is friend because I want him to be my friend." Romesh

"Isla is because I like her." Harry B

We hope you have a lovely weekend and are able to keep cool,

Miss Mason and Miss Bowden
