Angwin

Dear Angwin Families

What a busy beginning to the term for Angwin children. The children enjoyed the opportunity to explore new experiences as well as participating in well loved favourites from their time in Mattingley.

There was lots of busy planning this week as children created plans for Mobilo construction, maps for pirates to follow, as well as planning  birthday parties at the play dough table. It was wonderful to see how caring the party organisers were as they ensured that everybody in the classroom had a chance to have their birthday celebrated.

In the gym this week we practiced volleying with tennis racquets at the net. The children proved to be so skilled that they had Mrs Bishop and Mrs Rocca running for cover. We are sure that a few tennis stars of the future are currently attending Angwin room!

Angwin Children spent more time considering their facial features this week as we completed our Term One portraits. Features such as missing teeth, nose boogers and the inside swirls of ears were all considered! We began to talk more deeply about friends this week. Please check out the documentation on our wall to see the children's initial thoughts.

Have a lovely weekend.
