Cooper Room

Dear Parents,

The Cooper Room has been turned into a Pizza Parlour! The children have been mixing and kneading their dough and then creating the most amazing Pizzas. The children have really mastered the idea of creating different ingredients to make it taste right. We have all tasted the delights of the Pizza Parlour and walked away being very happy customers.
We also spent time looking at sweetcorn. The children found sweetcorn in  the boarders vegetable patch and then had a wonderful time peeling away the husks. We steamed sweetcorn and ate it straight off the cob! So sweet and tasty and then used dried corn to make popcorn. What fun! Next week we will use canned corn to create some yummy savoury muffins.
Many children have also been busy at the Hama beads table. Using very small beads to create interesting patterns and designs and then melting them together. The deep concentration and commitment to finishing the designs has been amazing and the children are always excited to see their new creation.
We hope you all enjoy a lovely weekend and are ready for a busy last week of term.
Kind regards

Susan and Coral
