Chapple Room

Dear Chapple Room parents and friends,
We have had such a fantastic term. It’s almost a shame to be saying goodbye to term two, but I think we are all ready for a three week break! This week we have explored using musical instruments to make music. After enjoying our music sessions with Mrs B, it was great fun to be able to experiment with instruments. We explored beat, rhythm and making different chords. Mrs Schmidt learned some songs on the ukulele and we helped sing the songs and keep the beat. It was great fun and a good way for us to learn the difference between making noise and making music. Several children decided to bring in their own instruments from home and share them with the class. It was a wonderful learning journey for us all, especially for those children who are musically inclined. We are endeavouring to send a copy of our orchestral concert to you all.
