Dear Langley family
and friends
This week we have
again enjoyed spending time getting to know our new friends. During morning
meetings we are focusing on learning each other’s name and identifying our own
in written form.
It is great to see our new children learning routines and
settling after parents leave. Thank you to those families who have returned
their student information forms. These were handed out at the Parent Information night last year but we have sent them home attached to the Seesaw
note if we did not receive one back. These forms enable us to get to know your
child better and keep a record of any important information you would like us
to know. Please check and empty the plastic wallet stored on the shelf above
your child’s locker as this is where notes and any work your child produces
will be placed.
Thanks also to those
of you who have provided us with a photograph for our family tree. These can be
emailed to Miss Olly at ojones@pac.edu.au
The children are
steadily building their self help skills such as putting away their own
belongings and attending to their own hand washing. We appreciate your support
in encouraging them to do independently whatever they are capable of.
Many children have
been enjoying doing individual and group painting this week and some have been
exploring natural materials to produce collages.
The outdoor environment
continues to provide lots of challenges for the children with the obstacle
course proving popular for those keen to climb. Please let us know if there are
any particular skills you wish us to focus on with your child and we will do
our best to include them in our fortnightly program. Our program is displayed
on the window next to our door if you’d like more information.
Have a great weekend,
Miss Olly, Miss
Nicole, Miss Georgia and Miss Chelsea
