Dear Angwin Families,
The children have
loved spending more time furthering their investigations and there has been a
huge burst in recording experiences in our room! There are pencils and paper everywhere!
The silkworms have continued to munch many Mulberry leaves.
Here are some of our
reflections…
Lochlann: They are babies on the leaf. Their faces are grey.
Joshua S: They are black and grey.
Walter: They have grip.. they are moving up the stalk. The eggs have yellow
stuff around them.
Paxton: Some of them are really small
Roy: There is a little black thing that is a little bit straight
Edward: They are tiny. There might be 100 billion!
Billy: There will be infinity when the eggs hatch!
James: The eggs are tiny
More spiny leaf
insects have hatched now the weather is warming up. The children are confidently
handling the babies.
Our fairy gardens are
looking fantastic and now some of the children have created their own fairies
to play with in the gardens. They are quite beautiful!
We are working as a team
to complete some group floor puzzles and it has been exciting to see how the
children are problem solving and co-operating so well!
Our transition
program has included the Reception teachers Mrs Blethyn and Mrs O’Hara coming
down to share a story and have a chat with the children going up to the
Preparatory School.
Have a wonderful
weekend!
Pip and Coney
