Dear Edgerley Parents and friends,
It was all things Easter this week as we excitedly
prepared for our Easter Bonnet Parade.
Children were inspired at the art easel
to illustrate eggs and bunnies and we quickly added them to our wall because
they were so beautiful!! We had so many gorgeous works of art we ran out of
space and now have quite a few waiting for a spot on the wall. Come in and see
our Easter art gallery during the term break program.
Today we strutted our
stuff in the Town Square, so keen to show off our hats to the other ELC
children. It was easy to see that quite a bit of effort had gone into much of
our head wear. Afterwards Mrs Cooper shared with us the Christian story of
Easter.
But soon enough we saw shiny paper glinting in the playground so we
rushed out to investigate. It seems Easter Bunny had visited and we madly
rushed about collecting chocolate eggs. We shared all our eggs out, even adding
eggs to the baskets of the children who didn’t come to school today. We all
know that eggs are only for eating at home so have showed excellent restraint
in not sneaking one through the day. We were such fantastic collectors that we
even spotted tufts of rabbit fur in amongst the plants n the garden, proof that
Easter Bunny was here!
We wish everyone a happy and safe Easter and Miss C and
Miss Kerry are looking forward to seeing the children after the Easter break
for lots of fun during the term break program.
Happy Easter
Mel, Emma and Cris
