Hello
Cooper Friends and Families!
The
children have had an awesome week of activities and adventures as we have
undertaken the first week of our Autumn Holiday Program.
Here
are a few examples of some of the learning which has taken place...
As
we explored our surroundings for treasure on Tuesday, Isaac S proudly stated ‘I
love sharing treasures with my friends.’ In saying this, Isaac displayed the
development of a positive disposition towards co-operative learning.
As
we experimented with slime on Wednesday, Ed exclaimed ‘Ahh! The dinosaur is
drowning!’ As he did this, Ed expressed his ability to play independently and creatively.
As
we engaged in imaginary hospital play on Thursday, Olivia asked her patient to
‘Say Ahhhhh!’ In doing this, Olivia displayed an ability to accurately recall
previous information and apply it to a new context.
It
has been an absolute delight to watch the children smile and laugh their way
through this week. We look forward to sharing more joyful moments with them in
the weeks ahead.
We
would also like to take the opportunity to say farewell to Henri W and
his family. They will be heading back to their home land of Estonia, and we
wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
Regards
Mr
Richards and Miss Kendall
