Dear Wilkins families and friends,
The last week of the holidays have just flown by.
We have made the most of the beautiful sunshine and enjoyed
spending some time outside. We have sailed the seas in the boat in the sandpit,
built buildings with the large foam blocks and practised our ball skills by
throwing balls into the hoops.
On Wednesday we had so much fun creating our own beautiful
tie-dye tops. We chose our own colours and then used squirty bottles to create
different designs.
We were also lucky enough to have a visit from Peter the
police officer and his police car. Peter spoke to us about how police officers
are here to keep us safe and then let us have a sit in his car and turn the
sirens on. They were really loud!
On Friday we had a relaxing day in our pyjamas! We helped to
raise money for foster children! Thanks to all who participated!
This week we sadly farewell Lotti, Giuliana, Quinn,
Stirling, Brian, Samuel, Yash and Xavier as they begin their journey in the
Cooper room. We wish them all the best and hope they have an amazing time.
We are excited to welcome some new Wilkins friends to our
class. Please make them and their families feel welcome if you see them around.
Thanks for a great three weeks of holidays and we look
forward to term 3.
Nicole, Kim and Georgia
