Dear Chapple family and friends,
As we have reached the end of our holiday fun we have had a
fantastic week with some exciting activities. On Monday we conducted some colourful
science experiments, we made our own volcanoes and they were a great success.
After our science experiment the children became quite interested in colours so
we began to explore this interest, we played around with some splat painting
and the children described them as ‘colourful raindrops.’
On Wednesday we were lucky enough to have a visit from a police officer who talked to the children about his job and safety, they were able to have a look at the police car and listen to the sirens.
We experienced such beautiful
weather on Thursday so we decided to take advantage of this by having a play at
the ever favourite rainbow playground, the children played happily and there
were many games of ‘duck, duck, goose.’
For our last day of
holidays, the weather turned cold again and luckily this was the day of our
pyjama day so we could get all rugged up and comfy in our pyjamas. We had a
play with lots of balloons and then lastly wound down and relaxed while
watching a movie.
As we begin the start of term 3 next week we would really appreciate it if you could please bring in a family photo in for us to put in our Chapple classroom!
