Hello Mead
families and friends,
This week
the children displayed trust and confidence as they enjoyed working together by
building and creating with the wooden blocks in Town square. They have demonstrated
that they have the capacity to act with compassion and kindness in their play.
Jaden
– “It’s a car”
James
– “It’s a really big truck”
Alana
– “I’m helping”
The
children have continued to show interest with the investigation overhead light
projector; exploring their shadows and an array of loose parts.
We
have had Mrs Nacca's daughter (Ariana) came in for a visit into the Mead
classroom on Friday. Arianna unfortunately has a moon boot on from breaking her
foot.
The
children have been very fascinated as to how she broke it
Parker
– “What’s that thing on your foot?”
Ariana
– “It’s called a moon boot, I broke my foot”
Parker
– “where is it broken?”
Ethan
– “Can I see it?”
Mrs
Kaur – “You can’t see it because it’s under the skin”
Ariana
– “My bone cracked”
To
further extend from this observations we will be looking into depth at X-RAYs
and bones using the overhead projector.
We
hope you have a lovely weekend,
Miss
Elodie and Mrs Nacca
