Mead

Hello Mead Room families and friends,

Week 2 of the Spring Program was just as busy as week 1!

On Tuesday we walked to the big fountain out the front of the main building to eat our morning tea. On our way to the fountain we walked past a very big machine called a cherry picker and we couldn’t resist taking a photo in front of it.

When we had finished our morning tea we went for a run across the oval and investigated the fountain.

Next we walked to the Secret Garden in the Senior School to play duck, duck, goose before walking back to the ELC.

Since we love exploring so much, on Wednesday we walked over to the hockey pitch to eat our morning tea, play games, watch the cricket clinic and chase bubbles. While we were sitting down eating we noticed similar birds to the ones we found in the Secret Garden in the trees next to the hockey pitch.

On Thursday we went to the Red Centre to participate in more fundamental movement activities, we especially loved chasing Miss Melissa around the stadium.

On Friday to celebrate the end of the Spring Program we had a casual day, all of the 3 year old classes were invited to participate in this special day.

Throughout all of week 2 of the Spring Program the children investigated the mini African world, built machine with the mobilo, created mini beasts at the making table, practiced their coordination at the bean bag toss game and explored the Big School.

Have a lovely weekend
