Mattingley

Dear Mattingley friends and families,

On Tuesday Sebastian's Daddy, Stewart came in to do a work out with the children and the teachers! First they pulled the rope along the path to the oval then in teams they pulled and pulled as much as they could.

"I did the rope pulling it was good," said Romesh.

"I like the pulling the rope it's easy," replied Amelia.

Next, the children got to do some boxing. Some children hit the bag so hard Miss Bowden and Mr Stewart fell over. Then the children split into two groups for soccer. After running half way around the oval avoiding the nets and giving poor Miss Bowden a work out, Ashvin scored the one and only winning goal.

We finished the morning with some sack races. Some children went missing...but luckily Mr Stewart noticed them, as the sack he was carrying was a little heavy.

As this is the final week of the Spring program we welcome back Miss Mason on Monday to start the term.

Our final unit of inquiry for the year is "Change."
