Angwin

Dear Angwin Parents and Friends,

We’ve had a busy start to Term 4, with the beginning of our transition program in readiness for school next year. The Angwin children have enjoyed getting back into PE, library and Chinese lessons and we are looking forward to our excursion to China Town in week 3. Please return your permission slips to Ms Garland as soon as possible (Tuesday children).

Last term, the four year old children wrote their very own yoga book. After learning many poses and their names, the children composed a story and drew the illustrations for the book. In week 10, we presented the book to Mr Andary and Ms Garland. It was an exciting time to share the skills and knowledge that the children have been developing throughout the year. Anthony read the story aloud as the children followed Samuel’s lead in their sequence of yoga poses. Mr Andary and Ms Garland joined in too!

We are now working on our second story and can’t wait to share this too. We are learning new poses and sequences and are eager to write our second book.

The three year old children are really enjoying listening to the first story in their yoga sessions. It’s been a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing journey. Namaste!
