Dear Parents and Friends,
We have had a wonderful week exploring the way colours move and mix together. We did some investigations into mixing colours and exploring some Aboriginal art, we spent some time designing tree art and our week culminated in our trip to the Art Gallery on Thursday.

The boys did a fantastic job walking together to the Art Gallery. We were really proud of the way they kept going and kept alert, keeping together as a group and following our instructions. We had a very knowledgeable guide, Brian who shared some portraiture, some traditional Aboriginal art and some more contemporary Aboriginal art and sculpture.
The children were fascinated with what they saw. They enjoyed observing colourful tapestries, brightly hand painted Turkish tiles and even saris from Indonesia. Our lunch in the Botanical Gardens was a welcome break where we enjoyed specially packed picnic bags filled with delectable lunch.
A big thank you to our parent helpers, Marina, Adrian and Gordon for their wonderful assistance.

Kind Regards,
Pip, Emma, Ty and Rosalie
