Dear
Cooper families,
Well
done to all the Cooper children on their lovely singing at our Nativity
performance, everyone did a fantastic job. We were all extremely excited leading
up to the day and couldn’t wait to show our families they songs we had been
practicing all term.
This
week in our classroom we have been experimenting with ink paintings. The
children used teat pipettes to suck up the ink from the pots and squirt out onto
the paper. We started this learning experience on the tables but we noticed
that too much ink stayed on our paper so we moved to the painting easels.
Moving to the easels made the ink “run down” and created amazing marks and
patterns on the paper. The children also
discovered that they could mix the ink together on the paper to create new
colours.
Next
week is the last week of the school term. During the holidays Miss C will be in
the classroom working with another educator in the Cooper room.
To
wrap up the school term and celebrate Christmas we will be having a small class
party on Thursday the 3rd of December at 2:30pm in the Cooper room.
A light afternoon tea will be provided. All children and parents are welcome to
join us, however, if it is not your child’s usual day you will need to stay
with your child for the party.
We
hope that you have a lovely weekend.
Love
Miss Gilbert and Miss C
