Mead

Dear Mead Families and Friends

This week was our last week of being Mead children before we move up into our new room and become Chapple children. We have visited the Chapple room this week and we are all very excited to be moving into our new class room and exploring the new environment with Mr Charwood, Miss Elodie and Mrs Kaur.

We started off the week with some easel paintings outside. Alex, Samuel, Jack and Connor enjoyed using the water paints to create their own beautiful paintings. Jack painted two pictures, one of his Mum and another of his Dad.

On Tuesday we decided it was time to make some new play dough. As a group we chose the colour purple. We mixed together flour, salt, cream of tartar and oil. We passed the bowl around the table feeling the different textures of the ingredients and taking turns to mix them together. As we needed to add some hot water, Miss Elodie helped us to do this. Once it was all mixed together and cooled down, we all had a small ball of play dough each to squish and mould into different shapes!

Danica - it's starting to look like play dough now
Alex - looks like the hulk, shorts
Mikayla - purple cake!
Ethan - it's not hot anymore

Tom, Ethan, Jaden, Samuel, Mikayla and Danica all worked together to build different types of vehicles using the wooden blocks.

Tom - it's a race car
Samuel - its starting, wee woo wee woo wee woo

Have a wonderful weekend

Miss Boler and Miss Elodie
