Edgerley

This week the children have been very busy exploring the new learning experiences that have been offered within the Edgerley classroom. The children have been exploring their varied interests and helping the educators set up new play spaces as their play evolves.

You may have noticed that we have a jungle in our classroom, complete with trees, long wavy grass, animals and environments built from Duplo and blocks. This space has been very popular and will continue to evolve over the coming weeks as we work together to form deeper understandings.

The Edgerley restaurant has also been very busy. You would not believe it but our restaurant fridge broke down and required a number of ‘fix it men’ to make it work again. Now that the restaurant is back up and running the children have created their own menu and are working together to make the restaurant run as efficiently as possible.

On Thursday a large group of the Edgerley children enjoyed digging for treasure. They discovered a variety of different sized rocks (gems, gold) in the garden. Together we washed and cleaned the rocks in order to have a closer look.

We look forward to what next week brings. Have a lovely weekend Edgerley Families and Friends.

Kind Regards,

Amelia, Emma and Ty
