Angwin

Dear Angwin families

At the beginning of the week we welcomed all the Mothers into our class to share morning tea and a play with their child, it was a special way to start our week. As the week progressed we had some exciting show and tell stories:
>Will described his trip to Bali and now we all want to jump on a plane to a sunnier country,
>Sidney shared his beehive that his dog Bill had eaten a corner of and
>Jack shared his paper doll story to which all the children are making their own paper doll cut outs in the classroom.

We have continued playing games, building structures from mobilo (including Teddy’s pelican rescuer) and role playing Mums and Dads in the home corner.  We even expanded on the Greek egg cracking tradition from last week by each day completing one step (first hard boiling eggs, then dying eggs, then drying them) to be able to do some more Greek Easter egg cracking as the children enjoyed it so much.
