Angwin

Dear Parents and Friends,

We have sadly come to the end of the year and have been chatting a lot about moving onto school and graduating from the ELC. The staff in Angwin are very sad to be saying goodbye, but we know that all the children are feeling confident and excited about the move to the big school! It’s been a wonderful year together and we will all miss each other a lot. How time flies when you’re having fun!

This week we discussed the meaning of graduating, and what will be different at school next year.

‘To say bye bye to all our friends.’ Arwyn
‘To say goodbye to all your friends at your little school.’ Oscar
‘The teachers too.’ Allegra
‘We say goodbye to our friends that are at the little school who are not big enough to go to the big school.’ Marcos
‘Bye bye to our parents because when you go to the big school, sometimes when you're just this big you go to see a bus and the bus takes you to school.’ Samuel
‘It’s special because we’re going to the big school.’ Arwyn
‘We won't have jobs at school and we won't, maybe we won't talk about Jesus.’ Samuel
‘You read at school. I just play at kindy and have relaxation and lunch and snack and fruit and then say goodbye to the teacher.’ Marcos
‘You’ll learn something, like how to read things and how to draw something neat.’ Sujay
‘You’ll learn how to write properly.’ Allegra
We won't get lunch in the cafĂ©, you have to bring your own food.’ Ethan
‘You wear a big school uniform with different colours.’ Oscar
‘You maybe don’t get play dough.’ Anthony
‘Sometimes you’ll get the same friends.’ Oscar
‘If somebody’s called like, Lily and he doesn’t have any friends maybe we could play with each other.’ Samuel
‘My brother will play with me at my school.’ Ashlyn
‘When you don’t have someone to play with it can be boring.’ Marcos

We wish all the children a fabulous and fun year next year and all our Angwin families a safe and happy Christmas. Enjoy the break and thank you all for being such a wonderful Angwin group for 2015.
Merry Christmas!

Love the Angwin Team
