Mead

Dear Mead Room families,
In the Mead Room this week we have been discussing taking care of ourselves and our belongings. Leonardo demonstrated how he takes care of his body by showing us how he washes his hands before eating and after going to the toilet.

Leonardo – I get the soap, rub together, water on.

We have been working hard to keep track of our own belongings! Jumpers, hats, shoes and socks are all very tricky and try to disappear.. just for fun!  We are developing skills for taking care of our things by putting them in our locker/ bag for safe keeping!
Scarlet – If you have socks put them in your, mmm, shoes, and then put them in your locker.  Because you want to get into the sandpit and you don’t want sandy shoes…. and you don’t want to lose them!

Days in the Autumn sunshine have been pure bliss.  We went out to the oval and played “Duck, duck, goose”, ran very fast to a colossal eucalyptus tree and back again, watched parrots making a ruckus above us in another eucalypt and scoured our outdoor environment for minibeasts.
Have a great weekend,

Melissa and Maddie
