Cooper

Hello Cooper friends and families,

This week the Cooper children have been spending as much time outside as possible as the weather has been magical. With the sun shining we have been taking extra walks around the school and exploring the yard. One of our favourite places to go is the beautiful big fountain out the front of the main building. While on the walks we have engaged the children in discussions about the changes occurring in the environment now that it is Autumn.

Regan: The leaves will turn brown soon.

Devner: The leaves will fall to the ground!

Anay: The wind will take them.

This week we have also been exploring the veggie patch in the yard. As our class have been quite interested in observing the growth of the vegetables we decided to set up an indoor veggie patch in the Cooper Room. The children have been planting pretend tomatoes, baby spinach, carrots and lettuce.

Ollie: I am planting carrots and tomatoes 'cos I love eating them...I do.

Zoe: I eat veggies at home and we grow them in the garden.

Have a great weekend
