Mead Room

It’s only been a short week this week, but we’ve certainly done a lot!
On Tuesday, the Mead and Cooper children took a walk up to the big school to play on the Rainbow Playground. It was the first time visiting this playground for the Cooper children, so Mead were very responsible and looked out for their smaller friends. Children loved exploring a new play space and all the different equipment on offer.
Unfortunately due to such hot weather, our 3 year old sports day was cancelled. However this allowed for some fantastic water play to happen. Children absolutely loved taking their shoes off (some even took pants off) to feel the cool water on their skin. The water play also facilitated great imaginative play with the boat nearby, so there were many high sea adventures happening.
Mead children boogied on down at our disco on Thursday, which was a big week highlight. They were all very excited to see the disco area done up, complete with disco balls, flashing LED lights and were even given glow sticks! Children had great fun dancing to music and waving their glow sticks around. Miss Sue even made a guest appearance and had a little dance with the children, which they thought was fabulous! We then played a very competitive game of musical bumps, where children had to sit down as soon as the music stopped. In the end it was a three way tie between Dougal, Jada and Nathan. Well done to these tiny dancers!
Hope you all have a great weekend
