What:
The Prince Alfred College Henley on Torrens Corporate Challenge is a fundraising venture conducted through the PAC Rowing Parents Support Group (RPSG). The aim of the competition is to provide an opportunity for the wider school community to experience the thrill of crew boat rowing within a safe, structured environment while at the same time raising funds towards the purchase of the new Prince Alfred College 1st VIII boat.
How:
Crews of eight people (same or mixed sex) will train twice per week over a three week period (six sessions). Suitable training days will be decided upon with each crew and a light breakfast made available following training.
Experienced coaches and coxes will be provided through the RPSG.
The PAC Henley on Torrens Corporate Challenge will conclude with a morning regatta. Crews will be match raced in ‘round robin’ format, the results of which will provide handicaps for Finals.
The PAC Henley on Torrens Corporate Challenge Dinner will be held on the Friday evening prior to the regatta. This is a social, non-profit dinner.
The cost of participation is $350 per person which will cover all equipment, coaching and breakfast expenses. The entry fee for the Regatta is $1,000 sponsorship per crew. Please register your interest through Andrew Randell, Mob: 0488 111 185.

Training will take place on the Torrens River with crews boating from the Christian Brothers Boatshed.

Sunday August 7th Orientation Day (10am - 11:30am CBC boatshed)
Aug 8th to August 26th Training twice per week
Friday August 26th PAC Henley on Torrens Corporate Dinner (7pm - 10pm)
Sunday August 28th PAC Henley on Torrens Corporate Regatta (9am - 12noon)
