Dear
Families,
This is the first week of our school holidays and we have continued on with the
high level of interest from the children about Mud Day. The children really
enjoyed Mud Day and have been sharing their thoughts and ideas with their
educators and peers. We have been doing sensory paintings using sand and paint.
The children have been using their hands to create their art pieces. We have
been putting together a display in the classroom so please feel free to have a
look.
George brought in a very special Didgeridoo to share with his friends. At
morning meeting we talked to the children about what a Didgeridoo was, what
they were used for, what they were made of and who uses them. The children were
very interested and engaged in George's show and tell. We looked at some videos
of an Indigenous boy playing the Didgeridoo, the children were very interested
in the sound that it made.
