Dear Wilkins families and friends,
We can't believe that it is the beginning of Term 4 already, where
has the year gone?! This week, we have welcomed some new families to the
Wilkins room and our existing children have been very kind and helpful as they
settle in to the classroom environment.
This week, we have begun our cross year level investigation into
water and its many uses. We will be exploring the science behind water with the
Mead and Chapple children. On Tuesday Mr Charlwood shared a water story with us
and we then started to look at different items and whether they sink or float.
Please continue to bring in any water photos that your children can share as we
continue this exploration. Feel free to email them to us if this is easier at jcatt@staff.pac.edu.au
Thursday we all ventured up to the oval with the rest of the ELC
and Prep classes to join in our Sports Day! Thank goodness the sun was shining
for us and the children were able to get into the spirit and join in the many
different activities. Thank you to all our family helpers that came in to
support us and cheer on our little athletes.
