Dear Langley
families and friends,
Welcome back for
term 4 - the year is almost over, how did that happen so fast!
This week
children have been very keen to be artistic and creative. We have been painting
with very fine brushes and even created a group painting where
children were sounding out noises as they painted.
Mason - "Dots, look"
Ruby - "Green
painting"
Angus - "Dab, dab, dab,
here and here"
Mack - "Haha, phooew,
phooew"
Be sure to have a
look at the display board.
With the
unpredictable weather this week we have spent some time playing in the
workshop. Children have really enjoyed the medical area and demonstrated great
caring behaviours looking after all of the sick patients.
Children have also
been very focused on stacking this week. Elsa, Eddie and Jaiyen spent quite
some time stacking with cups, bocks and rocks - great concentration is needed
for this task!
Thursday's Sports
Day was a big morning for our Langley friends! We made our way up to
the gym for a health hustle, then onto the oval for a running race. When
we returned to the ELC, we still had lots of energy so we decided to have a few
more races around our yard. Thank you to all the parents who came along and
participated in the morning!
Next Wednesday 26th of October we
will be having
ELC Photos taken. Langley will be having a class photo taken at 9:45am
with individual child photos taken after that. There is an
order envelope in your child's pigeon hole on top of their locker if you
wish to order a photo pack - please return this ASAP.
Enjoy the weekend
