Mattingley

Dear friends and families,

The last two weeks the children have become scientists. They have been making predictions, observations and reflecting on the experiments that we have carried out. We have made slime, stretchy slime! We have made colourful snakes using a cardboard tube covered with a sock and dipping them in bubble mix. We have even tried a variety of mints and mentos mixed with cola.

"Coke and mints will make an explosion!"said Leon

"Na, I think a dinosaur will come out" said Aiden

"No, just mess" said Amelia

"Ha ha it went all over you Miss Bowden, now you're sticky!" said Angelina

It has been a fun way to end the summer program in the Mattingley room. From myself, Kim and all the educators in threes we hope your child continues to have fun in learning as their journey begins in the Angwin class starting Tuesday 27th January. A big goodbye to Jaanav who will be starting a new adventure at his big brother's school. It has been a pleasure for the educators past and present getting to know you since the Langley room.

I leave you with this "Don't cry because you are leaving, smile because you were there."

Love Miss Bowden
